That feeling has been at the heart of Jordan Taylor & Co. for more than 25 years.

Dana’s story began long before the doors of Jordan Taylor opened. Her entrepreneurial spirit appeared early, beginning with a little toy cash register and growing through time spent in her great-aunt’s garment factory and, later, a home-based sewing business while raising three young children. Her ventures may have changed through the years, but two things have always remained at the heart of them: family and faith.

Dana launched her first small business in the 1980s, creating something of her own while remaining present for her family. Over the decades that followed, her entrepreneurial spirit and natural gift for creating beautiful spaces continued to shape each new chapter.

Jordan Taylor & Co., named for her children, began as a small storefront in downtown Abilene. What started as a simple family-run shop soon expanded into four connected storefronts spanning an entire city block.

By 2005, the collection had outgrown those spaces, and Dana transformed a 40,000-square-foot historic showroom into a destination for beautiful home accessories, gifts, and distinctive pieces. Jordan Taylor & Co. became a beloved part of the Abilene community and a destination for customers throughout West Texas.

In 2010, Dana brought Jordan Taylor & Co. to Southlake. What began as a boutique location has since become the heart of the business — and the realization of the intimate, inspiring store she always envisioned.

Today, Jordan Taylor & Co. is still guided by the values on which it was built: faith, family, beauty, and genuine care for others.
